This is us
Hi, we are Michèle und Patrick, the two creators behind the What I Like books series. It’s great to have you here!
When we started writing we shared the same sense of humor, from time to time a bottle of wine and a hunch that What I Like could become something pretty big. After countless nights of creating- and answering questions we learned so much about each other that we fell in love. So today we share two cats (Yoshi & Oona), a turtle named Shlomo, a household - and a small publishing company in Zurich, Switzerland.

This is What I Like
Today offers many choices. So many in fact that we lose track of what we really like. But why DO we like what we like? This inspired us to come up with What I Like - a book series all about the things we like. Books which ask us like a 6-year-old about our favourites and why they are our favourites, in a playful and humorous way.
Do we decorate our apartment for ourselves or for our guests? What would we rather not share and with whom never share? Do we like what our friends like or do we want to be liked by our friends? You, the reader, will realise that what you like says a lot about who you are.
Since what we like is not the same for everybody we’re working on an entire series of books. After our What I Like – The Fill-in Book for Children we’ll release the What I Like City Journals / Guides, all about your city as well as the adult version of our children’s book, What I Like – The Question Book. Those will soon be available in English, German and other languages. We can’t wait!
